USB 1.1 and 2.0 12Mbps. compatible port connection. Use a usb calbe type A male - B male (same as the usb printers).USB port powered therefore don't need extern power supply. Windows 98/ 98SE/ Me/ NT/ 2000/ XP/ Vista compatible. HID class device therefore don't need custom drivers to install. It use the windows native drivers.
It use the ZP20 software specific for this programmer, very intuitive and very easy to use, similar to ICprog. It have a common 8 pin socket (µZP20 version) or 8 pin socket and ICSP connector (ZP20e version). The ICSP (In Circuit Serial Programming) connector allow programming the chips, without extract them of the PCB if we have implemented this facility in the target board (require test clip SOIC not included).
